Wow... after 2 years of very uneven Deviantart use i finally decided to write a journal entry, because i felt like this was information worth sharing.

It is day 3 in our latest brief, the aim is to promote a fictitious printmakers band called "Reg Perfect and the Squeegees" (if you don't know why this is hilarious, reconsider your use of your deviantart account)

So, my fictitious band is called PЭГ ПEPФEЪKT и CKYNДЖNS (which is a transliteration of the band's name into russian. So logically it is a RUSSIAN HEAVY METAL BAND!

I am very excited about this project. So far i have made plates on tracing paper which will then become my screens (BTW, try charcoal on tracing paper, it has a sublimely fine texture and still allows for a lot of value, not to mention its resin base really allows for rubbing and wear).

I will be posting the first prints as from next week, once my screens are ready. But ill give a taste of what it will be like for the one person who may someday read this note:
- 20 posters with 4 screens on newsprint (yes, i am cheap)
- 3 black tshirts with the bands logo
- a belt buckle with the bands logo (probably resin or hardened acrylic medium, then painted with some ridiculous golden drawing ink)
